AN AGREEMENT ON COOPERATION BETWEEN LAW FACULTIES IN BIH WAS SIGNED AT THE FACULTY OF LAW OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ZENICA
Today, at the Faculty of Law in Zenica, the signing of the Agreement on cooperation between the law faculties in Bosnia and Herzegovina took place: the Faculty of Law of the University of Sarajevo, the Faculty of Law of the University of Banja Luka, the Faculty of Law of the University of Tuzla, the Faculty of Law "Džemal Bijedić" in Mostar, the Faculty of Law of the University of Bihać, the Faculty of Law in East Sarajevo and the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica.
The goal of signing this Agreement is to improve cooperation and establish partnership relations between the signatory law faculties, i.e. connecting and joint action of the academic community in order to raise the quality level of higher education institutions in accordance with the best educational models of the European Union countries, and in order to train young staff for the needs of various legal fields, having in view of the social importance of the rule of law.
The cooperation of law faculties includes the exchange of teaching and associate staff, the exchange of students, joint participation and application for access to funds intended for educational and scientific research, the organization of joint scientific gatherings and round tables, symposia, congresses, courses, summer schools, workshops, as well as the preparation and implementation joint scientific research and other projects. In addition, cooperation will be reflected in the exchange of information of common interest, publications, literature. When it comes to the interests of students, consideration of the model of practical teaching at universities and the organization of student competitions are foreseen. It is very important to point out that this agreement provides for cooperation in the sense of analyzing regulations and proposing their improvement.
