Signing the OpusJournal Service Usage Agreement

On 24.10.2023. in the Office of the Rector of the University of Zenica, the signing of the Agreement on the use of the Opus Journal service was held. The contract was signed by prof. Ph.D. Jusuf Duraković - rector of the University of Zenica and Mr. Darko Stojanović - director of the Computer Programming Agency 'iT Media'.

In addition to the Rector of the University and the Director of the Agency, the event was attended by the vice-chancellors of the University and representatives of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences of the University of Zenica, as well as representatives of 'iT Media'.

Among other things, they discussed the importance of the Service in the tendency to strengthen scientific and research work at the University of Zenica, as it will enable, in addition to many other important aspects, better 'scientific visibility' of published works at the world level, and the promotion of 6 scientific journals and 6 conferences of the University of Zenica in the direction of their strengthening and achieving indexation of publications with the reference of the Impact Factor as soon as possible.

There is no doubt that the application of this Service will help in the systematic approach and strengthening of activities in the field of scientific and research work of the UNZE employees and associates, as well as the development of scientific and research cooperation with regional, European and world universities, as well as better positioning of the University of Zenica on the world stage.
