The conditions for application and the criteria and method of selecting candidates for mobility are determined by the institutional agreement and the competition for mobility that the University announces in accordance with the provisions of the institutional agreement or the exchange program.
The general conditions for the participation of students on mobility are as follows:
- that at the time of going on mobility, he has the status of a student of the first cycle of studies with at least 48 achieved ECTS points (second year of study), that is, the status of a student of the second or third cycle of studies.
- that he fulfills other conditions determined by the agreement under which the mobility is realized or the mobility program that is implemented.
Unless otherwise stated in the competition or in the institutional agreement, the student's application for mobility contains a letter of motivation, a certificate of passed exams, a certificate of student status, a CV, a certificate of knowledge of English or another foreign language depending on the institution to which the application is made, and a proposal for the Contract on learning.
Through an open call for mobility (which contains all the necessary information about the destination, required documents and indicated deadlines for submission), you can apply for a limited stay at the non-native institution. Students who have been approved for mobility through the Erasmus+ program will receive a mobility grant from the institution they are going to, in an amount that depends on the country of destination.
When it comes to the Erasmus+ program, the Office for International Cooperation, in accordance with the rules, publishes competitions to which students enrolled at the University of Zenica can apply.
Technical criteria
The documentation defined by the competition should be duly completed, with the necessary signatures, and sent in the specified manner and by the specified deadline. In the event that some column is not filled in (which refers to the candidate), or if some document is missing, the candidate's entire application will not be valid or considered further.
Previous mobility
The UNZE International Cooperation Service strives to ensure that everyone gets an equal opportunity for international mobility. This criterion implies that preference during ranking/nomination is given to those students who apply for the first time, that is, those who have less previous mobility compared to others.
Ranking of students
In case we have more applications that meet the previous two criteria, further ranking depends on the academic success that measured the student's achievements, CV, motivation letter, level of language knowledge, and interview.
Special status
The Erasmus+ program strives to promote equal opportunities, access, inclusiveness, diversity and fairness in all its activities. Additional financial support for students with less opportunities has also been defined. In order for a student to receive, in addition to a scholarship, an additional financial grant, it is necessary to prove one of the following statuses to which he belongs:
- Students of lower socioeconomic status: proof - confirmation that the student is a recipient of state social assistance (or a local scholarship awarded on the basis of lower socioeconomic status);
- Students who have the status of a refugee, asylum seeker or migrant: proof - documentation that proves the said status;
- Students with support for inclusion (i.e. students with special needs due to a medical condition): proof – medical documentation, not older than 6 months.
WHO CANNOT PARTICIPATE IN ERASMUS+ MOBILITY?
Persons who no longer have student status at the University of Zenica in the current year (eg, students who have completed their studies), students of the University of Zenica who have already used mobility for a total duration of two semesters within one study cycle. This type of exchange is available only to students enrolled at the University of Zenica in the current year. Mobility is established on the basis of a bilateral, i.e. inter-institutional agreement between the University of Zenica and a partner university from the program countries, and it can be approved at the request of the student if there is no bilateral agreement. In the text of the public invitation published by UNZE, it is emphasized for whom the scholarships defined in the inter-institutional agreement are intended (some scholarships do not include all study cycles).
