The BDC 2024 conference was held
Today, the tenth scientific and professional conference with international participation, BDC2024 - Digital transformation of the business of small and medium-sized enterprises in the countries of the Western Balkans, was held today in the Zenica hotel, organized by the Faculty of Economics UNZE, in cooperation with the Faculty of Economics of the University of Sarajevo, the Faculty of Economics of the University of Tuzla, the Faculty of the University of Kragujevac, the Faculty of Engineering Sciences of the University of Kragujevac and the ZDK Chamber of Commerce.
In the introductory part, the attendees were addressed by: Mr. Samir Šibonjić, Minister of the Ministry of Economy, Ms. Dijana Babić, President of the Chamber of Commerce of Zenica-Doboj Canton, Prof. Ph.D. Jusuf Duraković, Rector of the University of Zenica, Prof. Ph.D. Nenad Tomić, Vice Chancellor for International Cooperation of the University of Kragujevac and Prof. Ph.D. Ajla Muratović Dedić, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, University of Zenica.
The goal of this conference is to promote the modern concept of digital transformation of business in Bosnia and Herzegovina through current research on the challenges faced by the private sector, but also representatives of public companies, institutions and organizations in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region, as well as policies that encourage transformation to digital economy.
"The Faculty of Economics designed this conference by bringing together job seekers called digital nomads, organizations that support the development of digital solutions to ease everyday problems, and organizations that help finance digital transformation, as well as service providers for digital transformation, and companies that will to use it," said Prof. Ph.D. Ajla Muratović Dedić, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, University of Sarajevo.
Rector of the University of Zenica Prof. Ph.D.Sc. Jusuf Duraković pointed out today that the organization of several international conferences in recent days at the University of Zenica clearly indicates the University's commitment to internationalization, which was one of the goals outlined in the work program.
