HE Gabriele Derighetti, Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to BiH and Haris Lokvančić, Head of Diplomatic Affairs, visiting the University of Zenica

Representatives of the Embassy of the Swiss Confederation in BiH paid a working visit to the University of Zenica today. HE Gabriele Derighetti, Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation in BiH and Haris Lokvančić, Head of Diplomatic Affairs, through a conversation with the Rector of the University of Zenica, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Duraković, Professor Prof. Dr. Larisa Velić, as well as the Deans of the Faculty of Law and Economics, Prof. Dr. Ajla Dedić-Muratović and Prof. Dr. Enis Omerović, expressed their support for the advancement and strengthening of cooperation between the University of Zenica and the Embassy of the Swiss Confederation in BiH through various projects, which is important for the University of Zenica. At the meeting, the Rector of the University of Zenica, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Duraković presented the current and planned activities of the University, as well as planned projects and programs.

As the Embassy of Switzerland encourages cooperation in the field of education and science, aiming to strengthen mutual support in the field of research and innovation, this meeting discussed potential future joint projects. After the meeting, H.E. Gabriele Derighetti, Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to BiH, held a lecture for students of the Faculty of Law and Economics of the University of Zenica on the topic: "The Political System of Switzerland: Direct Democracy, Neutrality and Federalism".
