The online community of BiH students announced a photo contest on the topic: "Study through the lens of my colleague"

As part of the "VasGlas, VasaPrica" activity, which financed by the European Union (EU), and implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the online community of BiH students (www.bhstudenti.com) announces a photo competition on the topic: "Studying through the lens of my colleague".

The goal of the competition is to bring the student population closer together and refer them to each other in order to see that they face identical problems regardless of gender, ethnicity, sexuality, religion or any other affiliation or orientation.

Please note that the photographic stories do not necessarily have to represent the negative reality of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the position of the student in it, but are also affirmative and positive representations in accordance with the conditions of the competition.

The only artistic condition is that the story somehow describes the student's everyday life.

Technical conditions of the photo contest:

• Each author must have the status of a student at any level of study, at one of the faculties/universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The organizer of the photo contest (Association "BHstudents") reserves the right to verify this;
• The submitted photo material must be a joint work of students from at least two different environments and faculties/universities, i.e. photo motifs should depict the unique story of at least two students;
• Photos must be in digital form in jpeg format with a minimum of 80% quality, the longer side must have a minimum of 2510 pixels, and the shorter side must have a minimum of 1663 pixels;
• Jointly submitted works must contain a minimum of six photos and a maximum of twenty;
• A minimum of three photos must be in horizontal position/format;
• Submitted photos must be the author's work of students participating in the photo contest;
• Photos must not contain any text messages or signatures;
• The name of the photo/file must contain the name and surname of the author, the name of the photo as follows: name_surname_name of the photo;
• The authors are personally responsible for the motif shown in the photo and for possible copyright violations;
• Authors by sending photos give the organizer of the photo contest the right to use them;
• By registering for the photo contest, participants accept all conditions of the photo contest and declare that the photos are theirs and do not infringe the copyright of another person.
• The organizer reserves the right to accept or not accept works, i.e. applications that it considers do not correspond to the theme of the competition, that do not technically meet the minimum criteria that determine the competition or that contain offensive content.
• The contest is open until June 30, 2017, i.e. works can be sent no later than June 30;
• Works are sent to the email address: konkurs@bhstudenti.com
• After the competition closes, all works will be published on our platform www.bhstudenti.com, through which voting will take place;
• The selection of the best papers will be made by voting by registered members of the www.bhstudenti.com platform and by the evaluation of the jury. And in such a way that 50% will be rated by the votes of the platform members and 50% will be rated by the jury on a scale of 1-5. The votes of the jury will also be publicly announced;
• Voting will last 30 days after the competition closes, and the winners will be announced within five days of the end of voting;
• All works that meet the minimum requirements will be published on the front page of our platform after the announcement of the winner;
