PUBLIC PRESENTATION OF PROJECTS FINANCED BY THE FEDERAL MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE

On Tuesday, 26.12.2017. in the amphitheater of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, a presentation of projects from the University of Zenica, funded in 2017 by the Federal Ministry of Education and Science, was held. A total of five projects were presented, which is the largest number of funded projects that the University has received in one year since its foundation. With a modest visit from employees and students of the University, the following projects were presented:

1. Use of waste materials in the brick industry

2. Investigating the possibility of composting sludge from municipal wastewater treatment plants
   Project manager: Assoc. Dr. Nusret Imamović, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering

3. Dynamic heterogeneity in soft sweet materials
   Project leader: Prof. Dr. Aleksandar Karač, Polytechnic Faculty

4. The state and perspectives of the economic convergence/divergence of Bosnia and Herzegovina towards the European Union
   Project manager: prof. Dr. Hasan Mahmutović, Faculty of Economics

5. Conquest of production and characterization of stone wool based on substitution of natural raw materials with blast furnace slag
   Project manager: prof. Dr. Aida Mahmutović, "Kemal Kapetanović" Institute
