07.02.2018. CIP UNZE: VISIT TO THE COMPANY AL-EX ZENICA

As part of the promotion of the GIZ project "Development of the innovative process of education and networking in Central Bosnia", jointly implemented by CIP and MF UNZE, director of CIP UNZE Prof. Dr. Darko Petković and assistant Dr. Alan Lisica were guests of the management of the wood processing company AL-EX (www.al -ex.ba) from Zenica B.Sc. Emir Akivić and the executive director Almir Akvić, Master of Mechanical Engineering. The AL-EX company is engaged in the production of massive glued wood panels as well as the production of panel furniture. Prof. Petković presented the GIZ project, the official start of which is still expected, and the current state of development of the DTD study program at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Zenica. In particular, the potential development of a training center for training in wood processing technologies at UNZE was discussed. The director of the AL-EX company called on the teaching staff of UNZE to bring students to companies in Zenica for practical classes more often, he expressed his willingness to involve students in internships and his interest in the future concept of dual education.
