11.04.2018. CIP AND MF UNZE: MEETING AT THE RECTORATE OF UNZE ON THE OCCASION OF ACTIVITIES ON THE BIESSE TRAINING CENTER CONSTRUCTION

After the meeting at the MF UNZE held on March 28, 2018. and as part of the numerous activities that the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and CIP UNZE lead within the framework of the establishment of the Design and Technology in Wood Processing studies, a wider meeting was held at the Rectorate, the aim of which was to define the state of affairs and new activities that will follow on the development project of the BIESSE training center at the University of Zenica. Representatives of the design company ag SIMS from Zenica presented several variants of the conceptual solution of the training center that should be located on the campus of UNZE and in a conversation with the rector Prof. Dr. Damir Kukić, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics of UNZE Prof. Dr. Fuad Hadžikadunić and the head of the project Prof. Dr. Darko Petković , considered all options and made suggestions for certain corrections. In front of BH Biesse Service, Ph.D. Alan Lisica presented the intentions of the BIESSE group in BiH and the companies that would potentially appear with machines in this turning center. After obtaining approval for the conceptual project from Italy, the next step is to organize a meeting with the Government of ZDK in order to start the first project of realization of the private-public partnership of UNZE and the renowned Italian manufacturer of machines for wood, plastic, glass and stone processing. Prof. Petković also presented the RIPEUD project - Development of an innovative process of education and networking in the field of wood processing in Central Bosnia and Development of a cluster of wood processors led by EF UNZE (ProLocal EU program) which are on the common background of connecting this sector and building a training center for the needs of UNZE and business sector.
