25/10/2018 MF AND CIP UNZE: SEMINAR FOR WOOD PROCESSING SECTOR REPRESENTATIVES

The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the UNIVERSITY OF ZENICA as part of the DEVELOPMENT OF THE INNOVATIVE PROCESS OF EDUCATION AND NETWORKING IN THE FIELD OF WOODWORKING IN CENTRAL BOSNIA (GIZ RIPEUD from the EU ProLocal program) held the THIRD seminar for representatives of the woodworking sector of Central Bosnia and students of various faculties of UNZE. After the introductory speech by Prof. Dr. Darko Petković, the head of the project, who spoke about the GIZ project, the importance of starting the DTD study at the MF UNZE and the subsequent activities on the project, followed by presentations on 3D scanning of products in the wood processing industry (lecturer, MSc. Denis Spahić, senior assistant ), Design/Redesign/Re-engineering of products (Ena Begičević, product designer, leading furniture designer at Standard Furniture Factory, Ilijaš) and a presentation on the topic: Specificities of the English language in the woodworking sector (lecturer Lamija Subašić, MA, prof.).
During the seminar, the representative of the business sector, Mr. Damir Kruško, owner of a small company from Tešnj, who presented his experiences in product development and preparation for CNC programming and manufacturing. Interesting lectures were followed by very interesting topics for discussion, a plan for the next seminar, and a joint lunch. The seminar was attended by more than 20 students from companies in the wood processing sector of the Central Bosnia region and UNZE students in the II II cycle of studies.
