21.01.2019. CIP AND MF UNZE: VISIT TO TAMEX COMPANY (RIPEUD PROJECT)
The first working day of the new week was an opportunity for the head of the project team on the GIZ RIPUED project Prof. Dr. Darko Petković with his associate assistant Emir Đulić to visit the company TAMEX in Busovača and with one of the co-owners ing. With Zikret Ibreljić, they are discussing cooperation in 2019. The conversation started about the company's appearance at the Fair in Cologne and the new products that the company from Busovača presented in Germany. Prof. Petković presented the seminars to be held at the MF UNZE on January 24 and 31, 2019. They also discussed work on two new laboratories that are being developed at MF: IT design Lab, which is being developed in cooperation with the company BIESSE from Pezar, and the FabLab-laboratory, which will be used for manual-machine development of wood products and which is equipped through GIZ-RIPEUD project. Prof. Petković also presented the possibilities of the new Artec-EVA scanner for development and redesign in woodworking and its future compatibility with B-Solid software.
As the company Tamex is closely related to the company BIESSE in the development of technological processes, it was emphasized what importance learning B-solid software will have for students and the future competencies they will demonstrate in practice. As pointed out by prof. Petković, along with the already existing IDEA_lab, the Laboratory for design and technologies in wood processing, the LIND laboratory for testing wood products, and solid cooperation with companies in the region, MF UNZE completes the infrastructural prerequisites for a quality start of the new study in the academic year 2019/20. year. After this conversation, a certain number of wooden elements with more complex configurations were selected in the Tamex facilities, which the students will have the opportunity to design-redesign with the use of modern equipment in the new laboratories at the MF UNZE.
