13.02.2019. MF AND CIP UNZE: VISIT OF STUDENTS AND HIGH SCHOOL IN ZENICA

Just two days after the presentation in the 1st Gymnasium in Zenica, two groups of high school graduates with their professor Merima Smaka were guests of the MF UNZE where they visited three laboratories: IDEA-lab, Lab DTD and Metrology Laboratory. In IDEA_lab, the graduates had the opportunity to hear a presentation by Denis Spahić, M.Sc., on 3D scanning, modeling and printing technologies, and a presentation by Prof. Petković on the possibilities of applying the Re-Engineering concept in industry. After that, the graduates saw Lab DTD and heard about the basic capabilities of this laboratory for manufacturing products and learning CNC technologies, and finally they visited the Metrology Laboratory, where Prof. Dr. Fuad Hadžikadunić and assistant M.Sc. Dženana Tomašević presented the work of this laboratory. The graduates did not hide their pleasure from what they saw. These activities were carried out with the aim of promoting new study programs at the MF UNZE and clearly showing the importance that the MF invests in the acquisition of new equipment that will significantly help in raising the competencies of future graduates, be a service to the economy, and MF UNZE to promote even more among foreign students that in mobility programs it will be the place of choice for doing part of the studies. These activities are part of the STINT project - "Strengthening internationalization in higher education in BiH". (Strengthening of Internationalization in B&H Higher Education / STINT)" as part of the Erasmus+ program and the project Development of an innovative process of education and networking in the field of wood processing in Central Bosnia (giz-dtd_EU pro-local). This visit is only the first in a series planned for high school students from the Zenica-Doboj and Central Bosnia Cantons, which will take place in the coming months.
