ACADEMIC PROF. DR. ARNE JOHAN VETLSEN AT THE FACULTY OF METALLURGY AND TECHNOLOGY - book promotion

Today, in the premises of the Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology of the University of Zenica, the promotion of two books by academician prof. dr. Arne Johan Vetlsen. Prof. dr. Arne Johan Vetlesen is a member of the Norwegian Academy of Sciences and one of the most famous Norwegian philosophers. He is Professor of Political Philosophy at the University of Oslo, Norway. He is the author of twenty books and hundreds of scientific papers and essays. Today, his two books New Climate and Studies on Evil were promoted to our audience. The promoters were Assoc. Dr. Rasim Muratović, Prof. Dr. Spahija Kozlić, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports ZDK and Prof. Dr. Faik Uzunović.

"Bosnia and Herzegovina needs the book Studies on Evil simply because it thematizes what we witnessed, which is evil, that is, the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The book discusses, among other things, what happened in relation to Breivik and the terrorist attack. I am particularly pleased that my colleague Vetlesen talks about the fact that there is a problem with transferring responsibility to someone else for certain things that happen in society. It is actually a message that we should simply respect the other and that there is no problem in the other, that there is no evil in the other. The evil is actually that we do not understand each other in today's time," said Prof. Dr. Spahija Kozlić.
