16/17.05.2019. CIP UNZE: FINAL CONFERENCE ON THE EDU-LAB PROJECT
The final conference of the INTEREG project EDU-Lab – NEW DANUBIAN GOVERNANCE IN LABOR MARKET RELEVANCE OF HIGHER EDUCATION was held on May 16/17, 2019. in HAZU-Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Zagreb. After the welcome address and the extraordinary thematic speech of the host, the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Croatia, Mr. Mirko Pavić, the guests from more than 10 SEE countries were greeted by the state secretaries in the ministries of education and science of Croatia, Serbia and Bulgaria, and the project leader Prof. Dr. Wilhelm Schuster from Germany. He presented the most important results of the project and invited the present participants in the project (more than 20 partners + more than 30 stakeholders) to sign the Danube Declaration on the reform of higher education and alignment with the needs of the labor market (dual, cooperative, smart, etc. models) study). On behalf of UNZA, the Charter was signed by Prof. Dr. Darko Petković, who was a participant in the development of work package 4 (WP4). Otherwise, the bearer of project activities in front of ZDK was the Professional Service for Development and International Projects of the Government of ZDK headed by M.Sc. Dženan Čolaković and Darmin Makić, and one of the major stakeholders in the project was the ZDK Chamber of Commerce headed by the president of the chamber, M.Sc. Diana Babić. The delegation of PK ZDK at the signing of the convention in Zagreb included the dean of EF UNZE acting professor Alaudin Brkić and representatives of the companies Pobjeda Tešanj and Cementara Kakanj.
