27.06.2019. MF AND CIP UNZE: STUDY VISIT TO THE BUSINESS SYSTEMS OF HERZEGOVINA – DAY 1

As part of the implementation of the teaching process at the Department of Maintenance, a two-day study visit to business systems in Herzegovina was organized for fourth-year students and teaching staff of the Department of Maintenance. The first business system to visit was the company Rukotvorine Konjic, which is engaged in the production of designed furniture and real estate based on the long-standing tradition of "Konjic woodcarving", which was recognized by UNESCO and included in the World Cultural Heritage. The host for students and staff of MF UNZE was Nihad Zukić, director of production, who presented the production program, the machinery park of the factory and the ways in which the company's business is carried out. The visit to the factory was followed by a visit to the Museum of Wood Carving and the Salon of Handicraft Products in Konjic. The second business system on the first day of the visit to Herzegovina was FEAL in Široki Brijeg, where the host of the visit, ing. Darko Martinović, presented this renowned company, dominant products and technologies used. This was followed by several hours of familiarization with the way of work and organization of the company, a visit to all production and logistics facilities, and a special conversation with the heads of the maintenance service.
