THE FIRST JEAN MONNET COURSE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ZENICA

As part of the Jean Monnet call for projects in 2015, a project for the introduction of an optional Jean Monnet subject at a Faculty of Law in Bosnia and Herzegovina was successfully evaluated for the first time, and for the first time at the University of Zenica. It is about the optional subject "Market Freedoms and Human Rights in the EU". The course will be held in the summer semester of the third year of study at the Faculty of Law, and is intended for all interested third-year students from all faculties of the University of Zenica, as well as representatives of non-governmental organizations who will be invited to guest lectures within the course. We remind you that according to Art. 20 of the Rulebook on the organization of undergraduate, master's and doctoral studies at the University of Zenica during the entire course of study, students may attend elective courses at other faculties of the University of Zenica in the scope provided for in the NPP study program. As part of the optional subject, guest lectures by eminent professors primarily from the Faculty of Law in Zagreb and the Faculty of Law in Saarbrücken are planned. Classes will be mostly conducted in English, with a special time set aside for students who encounter English legal terminology for the first time. The exam can be taken both in the official languages of BiH and in English. The leader of the project as well as the subject teacher is Prof. Dr. Zlatan Meskic.
