A CEREMONY OF PROMOTION OF GRADUATES OF ALL THREE CYCLES OF STUDY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ZENICA WAS HELD

At the end of October every year, the University of Zenica holds a graduation ceremony. Today, the graduation ceremony of all three cycles of studies at the University of Zenica was held in the "Husejin Smajlović" Arena. A total of 369 first-cycle graduates, 62 master's degree holders and 1 doctor of law were promoted.

What we are particularly proud of and highlight is that at today's graduation ceremony, 33 young doctors of medicine took the Hippocratic oath.

Prof. Dr. Jusuf Duraković in his address said: "Today's ceremony is not just an opportunity to look back on the past and achievements. This is also a moment when we should turn to the future. Your diplomas are a ticket to a world of possibilities, where your words and your actions can influence society, science, economy, art and many other areas. And while the world expects you to apply your knowledge, never forget that ethics, responsibility and humanity are just as important as your expertise!"

Faris Godinjak was promoted to Doctor of Law today. He defended his doctoral dissertation at the Faculty of Law entitled "E-Government as an Instrument for Strengthening the Principle of Legality and Improving Public Administration in Bosnia and Herzegovina".

Faris Godinjak said that when he decided to enroll in doctoral studies in 2017, he was looking for a university and law faculty in Bosnia and Herzegovina that had quality study content and appropriate teaching staff who would be able to convey his knowledge in the right way. After numerous consultations with colleagues, reading doctoral study programs at various law faculties, and research, he decided to study at the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica. He emphasized that after completing his studies and obtaining a Doctor of Law degree, he can safely say that he made the right choice.

On behalf of the Student Union, the attendees were addressed by President Larisa Gadžun, who thanked all the professors, assistants and employees of the University who guided, inspired and supported the students on this journey. "Their knowledge and effort have certainly left a mark on you, and without them you would not be here," Larisa emphasized.

The ceremony was rounded off by the presentation of awards to the best students. 39 of them received the Dean's Award, and those who achieved the best results throughout their studies received the Rector's Award.

The winners of the Rector's Award, the best among the best, are: Emina Rušidović, Fatma El Fares, Ines Fetić Muratović, Adil Arapović, Almin Musić, Ajdin Bešić and Alena Mujčinović.

Almin Musić spoke on behalf of the awardees, who pointed out: "I can say that it was really a great pleasure to study at the University of Zenica for the past four years, and I believe that I speak on behalf of all the graduates present here. This was certainly one of the most beautiful periods in the lives of all of us and I believe that we will always remember it very fondly. First of all, this is the place where we met many new friends, made various acquaintances, various contacts, and finally the place where we learned from excellent and professional Consequently, I am sure that we now have a lot of professional, capable and high-quality graduates who will be of great importance to our community in the future."
