Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands visiting the University of Zenica
On Friday, 02.12.2016. The University of Zenica was visited by H.E. Jurriaan Kraak, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Bosnia and Herzegovina. On this occasion, a reception was organized in the Rector's Office, where Prof. Ph.D. sc. Dževad Zečić, rector of the University of Zenica, introduced Mr. Kraak to the history of the University, its members, and presented current activities regarding the University's international cooperation, as well as student exchange programs.
After admission to the Rectorate of the University of Zenica, H.E. Jurriaan Kraak, accompanied by Prof. Ph.D. Dževad Zečić, rector of the University of Zenica and Amra Muslić Halilović, coordinator for international cooperation, visited the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica, where they met with prof. Ph.D. sc. Enes Bikić, dean of the Faculty of Law, and gave a short lecture to the students of this faculty.
It is important to note that the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands supported the study visit of students from the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica to the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in The Hague, and the participation of students in the prestigious ICC Moot Court competition in international criminal law.
On this occasion, NJ. E. Jurriaan Kraak highlighted his impressions of the competences that the students of the Faculty of Law demonstrated during this competition, the international involvement of the Faculty of Law and the University itself, as well as the working environment at the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica.
