Ceremony announcing the winner of the national competition of the World Robot Olympiad (World Robot Olympiad, WRO)

A ceremony was held at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Zenica to announce the winner of the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) national competition for Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2021.

This year, the University of Zenica is the organizer of this competition in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the first time, and a total of 14 teams were registered in three age groups:

1. Elementary (ages 8-12)
2. Junior (12-15 years)
3. Senior (15-20 years old)

Due to the pandemic of the COVID19 virus, the competition was held in an online format, and the young contestants showed enviable knowledge in the construction and programming of miniature LEGO robots to solve the set tasks.

The best were awarded special diplomas and awards, namely:

Elementary:

1. place: team RoboticsKŠC
2. place: team School&School Team A
3. place: Miroslav Krleža elementary school team

Junior:

1. place: team Zenica Junior
2. place: team School&School Team B

Senior:

1. place: team Transformers

The best teams from the Elementary and Junior groups will represent Bosnia and Herzegovina at the international competition of the World Robotics Olympiad for 2021.
