CIP UNZE: A meeting was held within the TEMPUS project iDEAlab

From March 14 to 17, 2016, a meeting was organized in the Rectorate of the University of Novi Sad as part of the TEMPUS project iDEAlab ("Fostering students' entrepreneurship and open innovation in university-industry collaboration: 544373-TEMPUS-1-2013-1-RS-TEMPUS-JPHES") for partners from the countries of the Western Balkans who establish new laboratories (so-called iDEAlabs) within their institutions.

Representatives of the University of Zenica attended this meeting on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, and, like other partners, presented the project activities so far. On this occasion, it was pointed out that three laboratories have been established and opened at UNZE (at the Faculty of Health, in the Student Center and at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering), and that the fourth is being prepared. The successful cooperation of iDEAlab at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering with the Zenica Cantonal Hospital, as well as some other business entities, was also presented.

The representatives of the European partner institution WUS Austria, in charge of internal control, drew attention to several important issues, which should be taken care of, with the aim of good project management and the subsequent sustainability of the established units. During the meeting, topics related to the next tasks were discussed, and the visit of the internal control team and the audit team was also announced.

A special surprise for these five new iDEAlabs at partner Western European universities was prepared by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of UNZE by making them each a project logo made of styrofoam. Therefore, we would like to especially thank mr. sc. Ernad Bešlagić for making the aforementioned logos, which, along with other promotional materials, will contribute to strengthening the visual identity of the iDEAlab project.
