Based on the Decision of the Senate of the University of Zenica, number: 01-02-5-4618/24 dated September 2, 2024. year, the University of Zenica publishes

 

COMPETITION
for the election of the rector of the University of Zenica

 

I

The competition for the election of the rector of the University of Zenica for a mandate period of 4 (four) years is being announced.

 

II

A candidate who meets the following general conditions can be elected as rector of the University of Zenica:

1. that he is a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina,
2. that he has not been legally convicted of a criminal offense with the legal consequence of being prohibited from holding office,

 

In addition to the general conditions stipulated in the Statute of the University of Zenica (Refined text), the candidate should also meet the following special conditions:

1. that the teacher holds the scientific-teaching title of full professor,
2. to actively know at least one world language,
3. that he does not have a position in the executive bodies of a political party or an organization connected to a political party,
4. that he is employed full-time at the University of Zenica.

 

III

A candidate who has the ability to manage complex scientific-teaching, scientific-artistic, research and business systems, such as the University of Zenica, can be elected Rector, which is proven by submitting program of work and development of the University in Zenica, in written and electronic form (on CD), for the mandate period from the Contest.

IV

With application candidates for rector are required to submit evidence of fulfilling the prescribed conditions, namely:

1. A short biography with an overview of published scientific research and other works, address, contact phone number, e-mail address,
2. Certificate of citizenship, in accordance with point II subpoint 1 of the general conditions,
3. The decision on the appointment to the position of full professor, in accordance with point II subpoint 1 of the special conditions,
4. Certificate of active knowledge of at least one world language, in accordance with point II subpoint 2 of the special conditions,
5. A statement certified by the competent authority that he does not hold a position in the executive bodies of a political party or an organization associated with a political party, in accordance with point II subpoint 3 of the special conditions,
6. The work and development program of the University of Zenica, in written and electronic form (on CD), in accordance with point III of the Competition,
7. Confirmation of employment-legal status at the University of Zenica full-time, in accordance with point II subpoint 4 of the special conditions.

 

The documents mentioned in the previous paragraph must be original or certified copies not older than 3 (three) months from the date of publication of the Competition.

The candidate is obliged to sign the application for the Competition, a short biography with an overview of published scientific research and other works, address, contact telephone number, e-mail address and a written program of work and development of the University of Zenica, in the opposite application candidate consider ce are incomplete.

Candidates who meet the conditions required by the Competition will present their program of work and development of the University of Zenica at the election session of the Senate of the University of Zenica.

 

V

The candidate who is elected by the decision of the Senate of the University of Zenica is obliged to submit to the Competition Committee for the election of the Rector of the University of Zenica a confirmation/attestation from the Ministry of Internal Affairs in accordance with point II subpoint 2 within 7 (seven) days from the day of the election session of the Senate of the University of Zenica. of the general conditions of the Competition.

The above-mentioned certificate/certificate, not older than 3 (three) months from the date of issue by the competent authority, is submitted by the candidate in the original or a certified copy.

 

VI

Applications with all necessary evidence must be submitted within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of publication of the Competition in the daily newspaper Večernji list BH.

Applications for the Competition with attachments are submitted in a sealed envelope by registered mail or to the protocol of the University of Zenica, to the address:

Incomplete, untimely and untidy applications will not be considered.
