Conduct research as a visiting scholar at the University of Michigan through the Weiser Center for Europe & Eurasia!

The Weiser Center for Europe and Eurasia at the University of Michigan invites applications from faculty and artists at institutions of higher education in:

Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.

Applicants must:

• hold a teaching faculty position w/ terminal degree in their field;
• receive an invitation from a faculty mentor at the University of Michigan with whom research will be conducted; and
• have excellent oral and written English language skills (proficiency will be verified).

The awards support short-term research visits of 2 to 3 months (September-November 2024 or February-April 2025) to the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and includes round trip airfare, housing, health insurance, and a stipend.
