"DIPLOMATIC HOUR" AT THE UNIVERSITY IN ZENICA WITH THE AMBASSADOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF ITALY IN BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

"Diplomatic hour" was held today at the University of Zenica. Nj. E. Nicola Minasi, Ambassador of the Republic of Italy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, was hosted by Prof. Dr.Sc. Damir Kukić, rector of the University of Zenica together with the vice-rector for international cooperation and quality assurance, Prof. Ph.D. Malik Čabaravdić, coordinator for international and inter-university cooperation, Mrs. Amra Muslić-Halilović, prof. and ECTS coordinator, Mirza Oruč, senior assistant. After the reception in the Office of the Rector, H.J. E. Nicola Minasi spoke to the students of the University of Zenica at the Faculty of Economics on the topic "Italy & Bosnia and Herzegovina, bilateral relations and promotion of social initiatives in B&H"

"The goal of these activities is to try to bring several ambassadors of certain countries with which our university has good cooperation, as well as for these ambassadors to present the country they come from, the culture of those countries, and some of the projects implemented by those countries, both in their own countries and in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is a great honor and pleasure for us to start this project and these activities by hosting H.E. Ambassador of the Republic of Italy, Mr. Nicola Minasi. We have excellent relations with the Embassy of the Republic of Italy and several joint projects," Prof. Dr.Sc. said today. Damir Kukić, rector of the University of Zenica.

Nj. E. Nicola Minasi told the students: "for the Embassy of Italy, cooperation with young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina is key, and that it wants to offer cooperation and job opportunities in Bosnia and Herzegovina." Italy is the second largest and most important trade partner of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and he also pointed out that a lot can be achieved with joint efforts. In addition, the historical, cultural and sociological relations are deep and we want to continue them in the future."

In an appropriate lecture and conversation with the students, the ambassador pointed out the opportunities that are offered to young people and students through applying for various scholarships and projects, as well as connecting with student unions and associations both in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in Italy, as well as the importance of activism and inclusion of young people in the life of the community and the state.
