DOC.DR. MIRZA POJSKIĆ GAVE A LECTURE AT THE FACULTY OF MEDICINE
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mirza Pojskić, a well-known neurosurgeon employed at the University Clinical Center in Marburg, head of the neurotraumatology section, a native of Zenica, held a lecture yesterday to students of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zenica. In addition to students of the Faculty of Medicine, the lecture was also attended by students of other faculties, experts in the field of neurosurgery, teachers of the Faculty of Medicine, doctors of the Zenica Cantonal Hospital, as well as interested fellow citizens.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mirza Pojskić lectured on the topic "Use of modern technologies (neuronavigation, robotics, Augmented Reality) in cranial surgery and complex spine surgery. Incidentally, Dr. Mirza Pojskić, in his scientific research work, also deals with brain surgery, brain tumors, skull base surgery with special emphasis on the use of modern technologies in neurosurgery such as robotics, robotic arm and augmented reality, which he spoke about to students yesterday. Through his lecture, he presented modern technological achievements used in neurosurgery using practical examples from personal experience and practice, but also through examples from world-renowned neurosurgeons.
On this occasion, he highlighted the excellent cooperation with students of the Faculty of Medicine in Zenica, with whom he has published many scientific papers in the last year. The goal of this lecture, as Dr. Pojskić emphasized, is to provide a new perspective to young people, and he certainly plans to continue cooperation with students and teachers of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zenica.
