Information presentation of the first call of the IPA ADRION program was held

On 19.04.2023. year in Sarajevo, Hotel Hills, representatives of the University of Zenica: prof. Ph.D. Hasan Avdušinović - vice-rector for international cooperation and quality assurance of the University of Zenica, prof. Ph.D. Fuad Hadžikadunić - vice-rector for scientific and research work of the University of Zenica, prof. Ph.D. Adnan Mujkanović - vice dean for scientific and research work of the Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology, prof. Ph.D. Malik Čabaravdić - head of the study department of Mechatronics, took part in the presentation of information regarding the First Call of the IPA ADRION program.

The main goal of the event was to inform potential partners about program expectations in terms of content, project acceptability, quality criteria, how to go through the application process, as well as other relevant aspects.

The participants received information about the rules, thematic areas and main guidelines regarding the First Call, as well as technical guidelines: application form, logic of action, financing, eligibility rules, project budget, communication and capitalization. After each session, a special time is set aside for questions and answers. The goal was also to establish mutual communication between the participants themselves.

After very high-quality introductory presentations, parallel sessions were held with the following topics:

• Research and Innovation + Circular Economy,
• Adaptation to climate change and environmental protection,
• Sustainable mobility.

By the way, the call for submission of project applications is open from 03.04. until 30.06.2023. years. The expected duration is 36 months, and the total available grant is 65.7 million euros.
