The academic year of the University of Zenica consists of two semesters:
- First semester (Winter semester) lasting from October to February
- Second semester (Summer semester) lasting from February to July
Students of the first and second cycles, who attend the lectures, should register their arrival before the lectures begin. Third-cycle students and research students register their arrival in agreement with their mentor.
