Internship program in the International Labor Organization (ILO/ILO) for 2023

The International Labor Organization (ILO/ILO) has informed member countries that the Call for Applications for the ILO Internship Program for 2023 is open.

The goal of the internship program is to provide talented individuals with the opportunity to gain practical experience in the International Labor Organization. As part of ILO teams, interns contribute analytical work on the Organization's principles, programs and strategies, working with outstanding and inspiring professionals and senior management. Interns will also have the opportunity to participate in important high-level meetings and conferences.

The next call for internship applications will be published in May/June 2024.

The internship requirements that candidates must meet are:

• that they are studying (last year of master's or higher studies) or that they have completed such studies no earlier than one year before the application;
• to have working knowledge (oral and written) of at least one of the official languages of the ILO (English, French or Spanish);
• that they can adapt to an international, multicultural and multilingual environment, that they have good communication skills and that they can work in a team.

Applications can be submitted electronically, via the online platform mentioned above, of October 2, 2023 to October 16, 2023, until 23:59, Central European time.

Candidates who are shortlisted will be contacted directly, and if the candidate is not contacted within six months from the date of submission of the application, he/she may consider that he/she was not selected.
