How to successfully apply for a research stay or PhD in Germany?

The online presentation of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) will be held
October 22nd at 6:00 PM.

The presentation is organized by DAAD representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Verena Gruber, and Ajdin Velić, DAAD Alumnus from the University of Göttingen. The presentation will be held in English, but questions can also be asked in Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian and German!

We will discuss:

• The requirements to be met for application, as well as the general structure of the selection and qualification process
• Scholarship opportunities for research stays or complete doctorates in Germany
• Tips for a successful application from a former scholarship holder (Ajdin Velić)
• Discussion of required documentation, types of doctoral studies in Germany and practical examples for writing a research proposal
