JESH - JOINT EXCELLENCE IN SCIENCE AND HUMANITIES - Scholarship program for postdoctoral students

Mobility program of the Austrian Academy of Sciences entitled JESH – JOINT EXCELLENCE IN SCIENCE AND HUMANITIES aims to develop and intensify cooperation between young researchers from abroad and scientists from Austria.

The program is intended for scientists with a maximum of 10 years of research experience since completing their doctorate.

Interested scientists from BiH can also apply.

The JESH program covers travel, living and accommodation expenses during the research stay (minimum 1 to maximum 6 months). Living and accommodation expenses are allocated in a fixed amount of EUR 2,700 per month.

The research stay should start no later than six months after the positive selection decision. The first stays can start at the beginning of 2026.

The application deadline is September 16, 2025.
