Development Studies Program (JICA) – scholarships for master's and doctoral studies – call for applications

The Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina informs interested candidates that the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) is organizing the Joint Knowledge Creation Program for Long-Term Participants (JICA Development Studies Program) "SDG Global Leader" for 2026.

The program is intended for young and mid-experienced civil servants who will contribute to the development and implementation of policies in the field of sustainable development. The duration of the study depends on the university program - a master's degree lasts two years, while a doctoral degree lasts three years.

Applicants are expected to meet requirements regarding current employment, education, work experience, age, English language skills and other criteria.

The deadline for submission of applications is October 24, 2025.
