Call for applications for You and Europe scholarships for master's studies in Germany is open

Alfred Toepfer Foundation FVS , in cooperation with the German National Academic Foundation (Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes), announces a call for applications for the scholarship program You and Europe Scholarship Programme . This scholarship is intended for students from Europe who wish to pursue a full master's degree at a university in Germany and who demonstrate a strong interest in European cooperation, exchange and international understanding.

Within this year's call, students from the following countries are eligible to apply: Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Greece, Ireland, Kosovo, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Switzerland.

The program is open to students of all study disciplines at universities and universities of applied sciences. Exceptions are students of art academies and music academies, as well as students of universities of applied sciences studying visual and performing arts, design, film or music.

Only students with above-average academic performance, who are among the 10-15% best students of their generation and who have shown exceptional engagement and dedication during their studies so far, can apply.

Scholarship program You and Europe offers the opportunity for academic advancement in Germany, but also for active involvement in European educational and social networks.

To apply for the program, students must first be nominated by a university professor. The deadline for submitting nominations is February 4, 2026The deadline for submitting complete application documentation is February 23, 2026.
