Regional Challenge Fund - RCF workshop held

Organized by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, on June 2, 2023. Regional Challenge Fund RCF workshop was held in the premises of the Chamber of Commerce of Zenica-Doboj Canton. The workshop was opened by Mrs. Diana Babić - President of the Chamber of Commerce of the Zenica Doboj Canton. The workshop was also attended by Mrs. Draženka Subašić - Minister of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Zenica-Doboj Canton. During the workshop Mr. Sven Dominković - RCF regional coordinator in BiH and Montenegro presented the project and details regarding the submission of the application for the third call. The workshop was also attended by representatives of the University of Zenica, prof. Ph.D. Hasan Avdušinović - vice-rector for international cooperation and quality assurance of the University of Zenica, prof. Ph.D. Fuad Hadžikadunić - vice-rector for NIR of the University of Zenica, v. prof. Ph.D. Mustafa Hadžalić – director of the Kemal Kapetanović Institute, prof. Ph.D. Aida Mulalić – vice dean of the Faculty of Law of UNZE, prof. Ph.D. Almaida Gigović-Gekić.

The project offers the possibility of applying for significant funds in the amount of 150,000 to 600,000 euros, primarily for secondary schools and faculties that implement practical teaching in cooperation with companies. There are significant benefits and benefits for institutions offered by this program, such as: improving the quality of teaching programs or training programs, procurement of modern equipment, improvement of infrastructure, teacher training, development of practical teaching, education of students, as well as high school students with an emphasis on practical knowledge and skills, etc.
