Students of the University of Zenica at the 26th International Tournament in Dubrovnik

This year, the students of the University of Zenica also participated in the International Student Christmas Tournament, which took place in Dubrovnik from 14.12.2023. until 17.12.2023. organized by the Dubrovnik University Sports Association and the University of Dubrovnik. This is a unique sports and entertainment event that brings together students from universities and universities from the surrounding area.

This year's tournament participants are:

• Victor Babes University of Timisoara, Romania - Men's Basketball;
• Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek – men's basketball and women's volleyball;
• University of Zadar – men's basketball and women's volleyball;
• University of Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina - women's volleyball;
• Polytechnic Lavoslav Ružička in Vukovar – men's basketball and women's volleyball;
• University of Pristina, Kosovo - women's volleyball;
• Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb - men's basketball and women's volleyball;
• University of Dubrovnik – men's basketball.

The University of Zenica was represented by the women's volleyball team prepared by Prof. Dr.Sc. Aleksa Stanković and Ph.D. Nermin Salkanović.

Our team participates in the International Christmas Tournament and achieves notable results. The students of the University of Zenica are the only representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina at this competition, and the University of Zenica, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Zenica - Doboj Canton, the University Sports Association and the Student Union provided wholehearted help in organizing preparations and going to the competition.
