Success of students of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zenica at the Regional Youth Medical Olympiad

Fourth-year students of the General Medicine study program: Amina Smailović, Hasan Špica, Amer Hukić and Amer Skender won the national final for the qualifications at the Regional Youth Medical Olympiad (RYMO), and will represent Bosnia and Herzegovina at the said competition, which will be held in May month in Tirana.

Our students competed against their colleagues from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Sarajevo, who won with a significant score difference. The competition itself and the qualifications are conducted in English, and are designed in such a way as to analyze and solve specific cases with an accurate diagnosis.

The organizer of RYMO is the association of medical students in Albania, and our team "Civitas Ferro" will compete against colleagues from Albania, North Macedonia and Kosovo.

This is an exceptional success for our students, the Faculty of Medicine, as well as the University as a whole!
