THURSDAY, MARCH 3, 2016 at 2 p.m. – COMMEMORATION ON THE OCCASION OF THE DEATH OF PROFESSOR HUSEJIN SERDAREVIĆ

Today (Thursday, March 3, 2016) at 2 p.m. in the Reading Room of the General Library in Zenica, a commemorative meeting will be held on the occasion of the death of Professor Husejin Serdarević.
In the period from 1974 to 1978, Professor Serdarević was the vice-president of the SO Zenica. He was also the president of the Socialist Union of Working People in Zenica, a professor in the Gymnasium, an advisor in the Pedagogical Institute in Zenica, and a curator in the Museum of the City of Zenica. He is the author of several history textbooks for elementary school and a text in the Zenica Monograph.
He is responsible for founding the High School of Music and the Pedagogical Academy in Zenica, where he was also employed as a professor.
In the year two thousand, Professor Husejin Sedarević received the City of Zenica Award.

The funeral will be held today at 3:20 p.m. in front of the Čaršija Mosque in Zenica, and the burial will take place at the City Cemetery of Prašnica in Zenica.
