The Center for Gender Equality of the University of Zenica is organizing a promotion of the publication "Echoes of Change" by Zilka Spahić Šiljak, Jasna Kovačević and Anita Dremel, on Tuesday, April 22, at 2:00 PM, in the NNV Hall of the Faculty of Law.
This publication created as part of the UNIGEM project brings powerful testimonies and analyzes of what the struggle for gender equality looks like within the university communities of the Western Balkans - through the experiences of male and female students, as well as teaching and administrative staff. He talks about challenges, but also about small and big moves towards education that respects equality, dignity and safety for all.
The publication will be discussed by the promoters, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sc. Dženana Radončić and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sc. Ivana Grubešić, while the discussion will be moderated by the coordinator of the Center for Gender Equality and Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Sc. Larisa Velić.
The promotion is an opportunity for us to open important conversations together about the role of education in building a more just and safe society for all.
