Visit of the expert commission to determine the fulfillment of the conditions for starting work and carrying out activities of higher education at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zenica
On July 7, 2016, the University of Zenica hosted a visit to the expert Commission for determining the fulfillment of the conditions for starting work and carrying out higher education activities of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zenica, which was appointed by the Minister of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Zenica-Doboj Canton in the following composition:
1. Prof. Bogdan Ašanin, Ph.D., full professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Podgorica
2. Prof. Milan Kulić, PhD, Associate Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, University of East Sarajevo
3. Prof. Dr.Sc. Mirko Raković, full professor of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Banja Luka
4. Prof. Belma Pojskić, PhD, representative of the Founder
5. MSc Amela Avdić, representative of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports ZDK.
The commission in the aforementioned composition had the task of evaluating the conditions for the start of work and the performance of activities of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zenica, i.e. to review and analyze the necessary documentation, check resources and determine all the elements necessary for the start of this activity. During its visit, the Commission met with the Rector of the University of Zenica, prof. Dr. Zečić Dževad, the dean of the Faculty of Health, prof. with the aim of better insight into the state and readiness of the University of Zenica, but also of other structures in providing support for the launch of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zenica. The Commission prepared the Minutes and the Report, which were forwarded to the competent Ministry of the ZDK with the aim of adopting the final Decision. The activities that UNZE undertakes and implements in this direction are reflected in the direction of fulfilling the strategic goals of UNZE as well as the expansion of the parent activity with the aim of contributing to the wider social community.
