Winter School for Cultural and Historical Studies of the University of Vienna "Discovering Modernity: Vienna around 1900"

The winter school for cultural and historical studies entitled "The Discovery of Modernity - Vienna around 1900" organized by the University of Vienna will be held online from 06-19. February 2021.

The two-week winter school program will offer a well-structured introduction to one of the most fascinating periods of Austrian intellectual history – fin-de-siècle culture, which represents one of the most important periods in the history of the Habsburg Monarchy.

In addition to lectures and an online tour of Vienna, an introductory seminar is planned, which will prepare participants for the lectures.

Given the interdisciplinary nature of the program, students from all fields of study can apply.

 

The application deadline is December 31, 2020 years.
