05-08.09.2019. CIP-MF UNZE: VISIT TO FAMOUS ITALIAN MANUFACTURERS OF MACHINES AND TOOLS

As part of the wide range of preparatory activities for the opening of the Design and Technologies in Wood Processing (DTD) study department, part of the project team of the MF UNZE: acting dean Prof. Dr. Fuad Hadžikadunić, head of the team Prof. Dr. Darko Petković and assistant Emir Đulić stayed in Italy in the Marche region and visited several renowned manufacturers: machine manufacturer BIESSE Group, engine manufacturer for CNC machines HSD, and tool manufacturers Wuritech and CMT. Certainly the most meaningful was the visit to the BIESSE company, in which, after the welcome address, the company was presented by the representative of the management, ing. Edin Avdic. This was followed by a tour of Biesse Group production facilities: Cosmec, Selco, RBO/Comil and Biesse Edge. Representative of the technical department, Eng. Đurđević Nenad presented Biesse - Systems - Case studies and the presentation of SOPHIA software, which Biesse introduces to the group of Industry 4.0 generation equipment manufacturers. was presented by ing. Rocchi Matteo. Brigitta Giovanelli gave a very useful presentation from the aspect of maintenance and procurement of spare parts through the bParts module. In the afternoon, presentations of the possibilities of Biesse machines of the latest generations were held in the Biesse training and show room center for businessmen from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the UNZA delegation. On the following day, visits were made to the remaining listed companies, which provided an insight into the state of development of the industry of machine tools and woodworking tools and the future development trends of renowned manufacturers. In addition to the team from the MF UNZE, there was also a delegation of businessmen from BIH with more than 40 representatives of companies from the wood processing sector. The UNZE team used this opportunity to stay together with businessmen for the promotion of DTD studies and the offer of UNZE in the segment of NIR and professional work. Also, the GIZ RIPEUD project (from the Prolocal program) was presented - Development of an innovative process of education and networking in the field of wood processing in Central Bosnia. The entire visit to Italy was excellently organized by the development agencies ZEDA, BH Biesse Service and the management of the BIESSE company headed by Željko Studen.
