07.08.2019. CIP-MF UNZE: CONVERSATIONS IN ITALY ABOUT THE OPENING OF THE BIESSE TRAINING CENTER IN ZENICA

The MF and CIP team of the University of Zenica (acting dean Prof. Dr. Fuad Hadžikadunić, head of the team Prof. Dr. Darko Petković, associate professor Dr. Alan Lisica and assistant Emir Đulić) used their stay in Italy to discuss the planned construction of the Biesse training center on campus. UNZE. The previous activities were presented and the need for intensifying efforts to reach a private-public partnership agreement between UNZE and the BH Biesse Service company, which is the representative of the Biesse group in this very important project, was emphasized as soon as possible. Prof. Petković presented the DTD study to the hosts from Pesaro as well as the GIZ RIPEUD project (from the Prolocal program) - Development of an innovative process of education and networking in the field of wood processing in Central Bosnia.

The study launch plan was presented, emphasizing that in the first generation, the focus of enrollment will be on part-time study students from companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina due to problems with the delay in starting studies. The importance of the future Biesse training and show room center at UNZE was emphasized, which provides all the potential for Zenica and UNZE to be the center of development of the woodworking sector based on modern new concepts of design, technology, production and maintenance based on the Industry 4.0 concept. For the UNZE team, this visit was an excellent example of how a modern training and show-room center works.
