08.06.2021. CIP AND MF UNZE: DUALSCI - CONVERSATIONS WITH BUSINESSMEN OF TEŠANJA ABOUT DUAL EDUCATION

After practical classes with students of the Mechanical and Polytechnic Faculty of the University of Zenica, Prof. Dr. Darko Petković had a meeting with businessmen who were or are now leading managers of companies in Tešnje on the topic of the development of dual education in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Professor Petković presented the Erasmus+ project DUALSCI - Strengthening capacities for implementation of dual education in BH higher education - Strengthening capacities for implementation of dual education in the sector of higher education in BH and an overview of the new equipment and potential of the MF UNZE. He presented the model of dual education in the EU countries as well as the countries of the Balkan region (WBC) and the trends in this sector in education throughout Europe. In particular, the obligations of economic systems in the organization of such a study and the legal framework that should accompany all of this were discussed. The Law on Dual Education, which was adopted by Serbia as the only one in the region, and the proposal for the Law on Dual Education for higher education in ZDK, which was created in the Dualsci project, were discussed. Kasim Kotorić, the long-time director of Pobjeda, emphasized that he had the opportunity to see a very good model in practice at the University of Bielefeld, which stimulates companies to enter this study model, because through employment agencies, funds intended for retraining are directed to dual studies. In this sense, it was emphasized that in the Dualsci project, a stronger involvement of chambers of commerce should be achieved, which should make the transfer of good European practice towards companies. Executive director of the company Pobjeda, ing. Armin Ćostović, director of the wood processing company Process as well as director of Eurometal ecc. Jasmin Subašić expressed the clear determination of their companies to be part of such a story in the future in Tešnje.
