09.-13.04.2018. Office for International Cooperation - Visit to the University of Jaen (Spain)
Within the Erasmus+ program, UNZE representatives, prof. Malik Čabaravdić, vice-rector for international cooperation and quality assurance and coordinator of the Office for International Cooperation, Amra Muslić visited the University of Jaen (Spain). The University of Jaen is one of the five Spanish Universities with which UNZE currently has a signed mobility agreement and where there are currently 6 students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Law and Economics as part of the Erasmus+ ECTS mobility program for one semester.
On this occasion, representatives of UNZE were received by the vice-rector for internationalization of the University of Jaen, prof. Sebastian Bruque-Cámara, and talks were also held with representatives of the Office for International Cooperation. In addition, the laboratories of the Technical Faculties in two campuses were also visited: Jaen and Linares. During the visit, directions for further cooperation were agreed upon: first of all, the opening of new places within the Erasmus+ exchange for our students from the next semester, as well as the submission of an application for the exchange of students and teaching staff in the following academic years. The possibility of teachers and students from Spain coming to UNZE was opened, and future cooperation in scientific research and capacity building projects was also discussed.
A very important part of the visit was the conversation with UNZE students, who are currently in Jaen. All of them expressed their satisfaction with the decision to participate in the ECTS mobility program and the conditions provided for their one-semester stay and study at the visiting university, and they will present their experiences to all interested UNZE students upon their return to Zenica.
