14.01.2020. CIP UNZE: VISIT TO KRISTAL COMPANY

Director of CIP UNZE Prof. Dr. Darko Petković and external associate of CIP B.Sc. Samir Bijedić visited the company KRISTAL in Vitez, where they had a meeting with the director and owner Nikola Franjić and the head of the construction and energy department, Eng. Miroslav Stjepanović. The topic was a discussion about the energy efficiency of new and old Kristal facilities and guidelines for further investment in energy infrastructure facilities in the light of Kristal's further development ambitions. After a detailed tour of all production departments and the energy station and a review of the available documentation, the next steps were decided and the next meeting was scheduled for January 18, 2019. until when it is necessary to provide all the existing documentation for the calculations of the energy balance of the company and to define the appropriate measurements. With this meeting, the CIP opened a new area of its activities, because after the Tempus RESI project, the Center for Energy Efficiency was initiated by the CIP at the level of the Ministry of Finance, which has been "in the establishment phase" for years, but without any concrete work activities.
