20.12.2019. CIP, MF and PTF UNZE: BUSINESS DAY FOR STUDENTS IN VISOK AND SARAJEVO

The fourth business day in the winter semester of the academic year 2019/20 for students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Polytechnic was held on Friday, December 20, 2019, when, as part of classes at the Department of Industrial Engineering and CIM and the Department of Design and Technologies in Woodworking, they visited the systems business systems in Visoko and Sarajevo. The first system on the daily agenda was the Prevent - INTERIOR system, where students were presented with the realization of the furniture production program for the IKEA group and other large sales systems in the region. This was followed by an overview of the technological and production process at Prevent-FABRICS, where the students had the opportunity to see all the weaving processes and chemical treatments that accompany this processing. At the end of the visit to this large system, there was a visit to the Prevent - LEATHER facilities, where the complete technological processing of leather for the furniture, clothing and automotive industries is realized. The host for the students from UNZE was M.Sc. Zlatan Uzunović, director of companies at the Visoko location with a team of his associates in each of the visited systems. As with previous visits, the focus of the visit was on the organization of such complex systems, work preparation and the launch of work orders, especially in the domain of very complex contracts with suppliers in the automotive sector or the woodworking sector. At the end of the working day, the students visited the company KLAS Sarajevo, which is part of the AS Group, where the focus was on looking at the system of logistics and internal transport, packaging and distribution, as well as maintenance, which have their own specificities in the food technology sector. The host of the teaching in this business system was Mr. Boris Brković and his team of associates.
