The head of the project team on the GIZ RIPUED project, Prof. Darko Petković, Ph.D., with associate assistant Emir Đulić, visited on January 16, 2019. the MS WOOD company in Fojnica and with the head of human resources Mr. Mirsadom Softić talked about the new DTD study department at the Ministry of Education of the UNZE, important seminars that should be held at the Ministry of Education of the UNZE on January 24 and 31, 2019. and potential opportunities for the MS WOOD company to help in equipping two new laboratories where development work is being done at MF: IT design Lab, which is being developed in cooperation with the BIESSE company from Pezar, and the FabLab-laboratory, which will serve for the manual-machine development of products from of wood, which was equipped through the GIZ-RIPEUD project. Prof. Petković also presented the possibilities of the new Artec-EVA scanner for development and redesign in woodworking and its future compatibility with B-Solid software. In this way, in addition to the already existing IDEA_lab, the Laboratory for design and technologies in woodworking and the LIND laboratory for testing wood products, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering completes the infrastructural prerequisites for a quality start of the new study in the academic year 2019/20. year. The head of human resources of the MS Wood company Mr. Softić expressed her satisfaction with the current quality of knowledge, skills and competences that graduates from UNZE have and underlined how important it is for the company MS Wood that in teaching at the faculties of UNZE significant attention is paid to practice and cooperation with factories through various forms (internships, study visits, exercises, seminar and graduation theses, etc.). She emphasized the importance of a multidisciplinary approach in the development of knowledge, skills and competences that companies expect and that were insisted upon when creating the NPP. There was also talk about the organization of a dual study model with an even greater emphasis on practical work, which the company is now fostering with secondary schools in Fojnica, and it was proposed to the MoF to present a new study at the Secondary School Center in Fojnica, which was accepted and planned to be carried out as early as February 2019. .
