18.04.2019. MF AND CIP UNZE: VISIT TO THE FACULTY OF MARITIME KOTOR AND PORTE MONTENEGRO TIVAT

On the second day of the visit to Montenegro, third-year students of the MAINTENANCE department with the staff of the Department of Maintenance of the Mechanical Engineering Faculty of UNZE visited the Faculty of Maritime Affairs of UNCG and the business system of Porte Montenegro Tivat. In the morning, a visit was first made to the Faculty of Maritime Affairs in Kotor, where the dean, Prof. Dr. Špiro Ivošević, after welcoming words, presented the study departments at this faculty with a long tradition. In a celebratory tone, an artistic photo of the school ship Jadran was presented as a gift to the MF UNZA when it sailed into the port of La Valleta in Malta, and prof. Dr. D. Petković, head of the Department, handed over the latest editions and books of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports. This was followed by practical exercises and classes on the training systems of the Kotor Maritime Faculty. This visit was followed by a visit to the Nautical Museum in Tivat, where guests from UNZE could see the history of seafaring in the Adriatic as well as the overhaul and maintenance systems operated by the former military system Arsenal Kotor. The students had the opportunity to enter the latest version of the submarine produced by the ex-SFRJ and, with expert explanations, learn how this complex technical system works. This part of the lesson was followed by a tour of the Porto Montenegro marina as well as the school ship Jadran, on which the students of the Maritime Faculty from Kotor do their internship.
