19.04.2019. MF AND CIP UNZE: VISIT TO LUCA BAR AND MOŽURA WIND PARK
Port of Bar was the first place of classes on the third day of the study visit to Montenegro. Warmly welcomed third-year students and staff of the MAINTENANCE department of the UNZE Faculty of Mechanical Engineering had the opportunity to hear the history and development plans of the largest port in the southern Adriatic. This was followed by a tour of the docks in the Port of Bar, where the students were presented with all the concepts of loading and unloading goods, as well as the complex technical systems used for this, as well as the maintenance methods and techniques used for their maximum efficiency in work. After the Port of Bar, there was a visit to the new Možura Wind Park on the border of the Bar-Ulcinj municipalities, which is a joint venture between Chinese partners and the Electric Power Company of Montenegro. On a specific mountain location where 23 wind turbines (2 MW each) are located, the students heard from the Chinese engineers Li Mei and San Dor about the construction and assembly method of these impressive technical systems with an average height of 110 meters, their trial operation in which they are now and maintenance approaches to be used. What particularly surprised the guests from UNZA was the fact that less than a year ago they watched the unloading of these windmills in the Port of Bar, and now they had the opportunity to see them assembled and ready for work.
