21.09.2018. MF AND CIP UNZE: WORKING MEETING AT THE KEMAL KAPETANOVIĆ INSTITUTE
The last working day of the 35th working week in 2018 was used for a meeting with the management of the Kemal Kapetanović Institute and the presentation of the DTD (Design and Technologies in Woodworking) study and information on the status of the RIPEUD project - Development of an innovative process of education and networking in the field of woodworking in Srednja Bosnia. Prof. Petković presented the needs of the project and the future study for new premises and the construction of the so-called FabLab space where students will work on the development of wooden products and models, for which the project has provided appropriate equipment. As the Kemal Kapetanović Institute is also in the phase of transformation of its activities and the formation of the Center for Non-Metallic Materials, the old idea of setting up the FabLab equipment to start with the first elements of the future Center has been concretized. It was concluded that in the following projects, which have wood processing as their subject, the procurement of equipment that enables adequate testing and analysis of the composition of artificial forms of wood (MDF, etc.), paints, varnishes, glues, etc. In this sense, the Ministry of Finance and CIP UNZE will provide full support to the Institute, and a meeting has been arranged with the Development Agency ZEDA and the LIND laboratory, which are also actively working in this area.
