24.01.2019. CIP and MF UNZE: HELD THE TENTH SEMINAR IN THE GIZ-RIPEUD PROJECT

In the Multimedia Center of the University of Zenica, the tenth Seminar was held within the project DEVELOPMENT OF THE INNOVATIVE PROCESS OF EDUCATION AND NETWORKING IN THE FIELD OF WOODWORKING IN CENTRAL BOSNIA, entitled REVERSE ENGINEERING AND BUSINESS IMPROVEMENTS TO THE WOOD PROCESSING SECTOR. The seminar offered listeners an introduction to Reverse Engineering methodologies, 3D scanning of products - Practical application of the Artec-Eva scanner, and training in the application of Lean tools in the development of business improvements. After the introductory ones  discussions on better connection with business systems and modalities of dual education by prof. Dr. Darko Petković, he also presented the working version of the eng-bhs dictionary for woodworkers prepared by Lamija Subašić, prof. and invited company representatives to submit their suggestions for missing terms and words that are significant in this sector. This was followed by presentations that contained more practical work by the seminar participants than at one of the previous seminars. First, Prof. Dr. Josip Kačmarčik spoke about the methodology of Reverse Engineering, 3D laser scanning and processing technology and redesign in CAD software was discussed by Mr. Denis Spahić, and Prof. Dr. Alan Lisica spoke about the tools of the Lean concept and their application in the wood processing sector. Each of the presenters also discussed several practical cases with the participants of the seminar. After the presentations and work of all participants between 15:00 and 17:00, there were concluding deliberations, discussion and participants' lunch. The Seminar was attended by 27 representatives of companies in the wood processing and related sectors, as well as students of the MF UNZE. Participation in this seminar, as in previous seminars, was free. Prof. Dr. Petković, concluding this seminar, invited the participants to the next seminar, which is planned for Thursday, January 31, 2019. years.
