24.03.2018. CIP AND MF UNZE: RIPEUD PROJECT-DISCUSSION AT THE FACULTY OF FORESTRY IN BELGRADE

As part of the preparations for the visit to the Faculty of Forestry of the University of Belgrade as part of the RIPEUD project - Development of an innovative process of education and networking in the field of wood processing in Central Bosnia, the director of CIP UNZE and the head of the project Prof. Dr. Darko Petković had a meeting in Belgrade with Prof. Dr. Zdravko Popović, vice dean of the faculty and full professor at the Department of Technology, Management and Design of Furniture and Wood Products (www.sfb.bg.ac.rs). Representing one of the oldest members of the University of Belgrade, founded in 1920, Prof. Popović presented the work of the faculty and the key project activities and teaching activities of this respectable institution. Prof. Petković presented the current state of activities on the development of the study department Design and Technology in Wood Processing (DTD) at the MF UNZE and a picture of the state of the wood processing sector in the Central Bosnia and ZDK region. A great interest in mutual cooperation was expressed, and it was agreed that a delegation from the MF UNZA and the RIPEUD project would visit the Faculty of Forestry in Belgrade in April 2018.
